(a) That the retiree be a

magistrate, i.e., a Justice of

the Supreme Court, the

Court of Appeals, the

Sandiganbayan, or of the

Court of Tax Appeals, or a

judge of the trial courts,

Shari'a court, or of any

other judicial court;

(b) That the retiring magistrate

has rendered at least 15

years of service in the

judiciary, in any other

branch of the government,

or in both;
